General Troubleshooting
KL15769 Cannular Compact Semi-Auto Canning Machine | Troubleshooting
Cannular cuts out in use
Power Supply tripping - bearings
Check that the rollers and table bearings spin freely. Too much restriction can cause the power supply to trip
Power Supply tripping - table hieght
Check the table hieght. If the can is pushed against the chuck too hard this can overload the power supply in use.
Faulty Power Supply
Test DC output with multimeter. Replace Power Supply if faulty
Cannular does not stop after complete operation
Faulty Relay or Microswitch
If the Cannular continues running after the both operations are complete it could either be a faulty relay or a faulty micro switch. There is no real way of checking which it might be other than replacing parts.
The relay is located at the back of the unit under the cover near the anderson plug and to access the micro switch you will need to take the blue cog wheel out. The black lobe activates the micro switch after each rotation.
Cannular does not return to correct start position
Microswitch requires adjustment
Refer to Adjust Cannular Start Position
