# Duotight Generation 2 Design Revision

### Double O-Ring Silicone + EPDM

Combining two different o-ring types gives us the ability to leverage two different o-ring materials making an overall more reliable sealing fitting.

**Silicone**

* High chemical resistance
* Excellent resilience/rebound rating (especially at cold temperatures)
* High flexibility in both very hot and very cold conditions
* Suitable for high vibration conditions

**EPDM**

* Durability
* Abrasion resistance
* Low gas transmission rate (oxygen, nitrogen, CO2)

### Poketon Body - UV Resistant

* High chemical resistance
* UV resistant for outdoor applications
* High durability and toughness in hot and cold conditions
* Autoclavable / heat resistant

### Tube Depth Gauge

* Ensures tubing is inserted to correct depth

### High Burst Pressure

* All Gen 2 Fittings are made with 20bar (300psi) or greater burst pressures. The smaller 8mm and 6.35mm fittings have even higher burst pressures generally over 400psi.

### Colour Coded Collets

The Gen 2 Fittings have colour coded collets making it easier to visually identify the different sizes.

* **Black - 8mm (5/16")**
* <mark style="color:blue;">**Blue**</mark>**&#x20;- 9.5mm (3/8")**
