Connecting the regulator - MK5 Regulator
Ensure your CO2 cylinder is upright and securely placed.
Verify that the regulator's fitting matches your CO2 cylinder valve.
Align the regulator's inlet nut with the CO2 cylinder valve.
Hand-tighten the nut-hand-wheel firmly onto the cylinder valve. No tools are required for this step due to the patented tool-free design.

Once securely attached, perform a Pressure Decay Test
If no leaks are detected, connect your 8mm EVABarrier gas line to the 8mm duotight ball valve outlet
Connecting to Equipment (MK5 Regulator)
The regulator features an integrated 8mm duotight push-in connection. Simply push your 8mm tubing firmly into the connection point until it seats securely.
Connecting the regulator - MK4 Regulator
Ensure your CO2 cylinder is upright and securely placed.
Verify that the regulator's fitting matches your CO2 cylinder valve.
Align the regulator's inlet nut with the CO2 cylinder valve.
Using a spanner or wrench, tighten the inlet nut firmly onto the cylinder valve.

Once securely attached, perform a Pressure Decay Test
If no leaks are detected, connect your 8mm EVABarrier gas line to the 8mm duotight ball valve outlet
Connecting to Equipment (MK4 Regulator)
MK4 Regulators include a KL06880 duotight – 8mm (5/16”) Female x FFL Female Thread. Thread this onto the MFL outlet thread of the MK4 regulator. Do not overtighten as this can crack the duotight fitting. For a detailed guide to correct attachment, refer Duotight Female Flare Fittings.
Once correctly attached, simply push your 8mm tubing firmly into the connection point until it seats securely.
Operating Instructions
Adjusting Pressure
With the regulator attached to the CO2 cylinder and the cylinder valve open, the high-pressure gauge will show the cylinder's remaining pressure. The high-pressure gauge is the gauge on the left of the adjustment knob.
The low-pressure gauge indicates the output pressure. The low-pressure gauge is the gauge on the right of the adjustment knob.

MK5 only - open the integrated ball valve to allow pressure to flow.
To adjust the output pressure, turn the adjustment knob clockwise to increase pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease pressure. NOTE: Pressure cannot be decreased unless it is released from the system. To do this pull the PRV (Pressure Relief Valve) to relase pressure from the system after turning the adjustment knob all the way anti-clockwise.
Make small adjustments and observe the low-pressure gauge until the desired pressure is reached. The time the system takes to acheive the desired pressure will vary depending largely on the volume to be pressurised.

Pressure Relief Valve (PRV)
This regulator is equipped with a 65psi Green PRV. This safety feature will release pressure if it exceeds 65psi, preventing damage to your equipment. Do not tamper with or obstruct the PRV.
If gas is venting from the PRV this indicates the pressure in the system is higher than the PRV rated pressure. Turn the CO2 cylinder valve off. Turn the Adjustment Knob anti-clockwise so that less pressure is let into the system
Pressure Relief Valves are colour coded. This unit comes with a 65psi Green PRV.
Red 35psi or Grey 100psi PRV can be purchased separately

Maintenance
General Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the regulator with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Self-Servicing Internal Components (MK5 only)
The MK5 regulator is designed for easy self-servicing. If contaminants enter the regulator or if pressure creep occurs, you can clean the internals:
Ensure the CO2 cylinder valve is closed and all pressure is relieved from the system.
Carefully detach the regulator from the CO2 cylinder.
Locate the M8 Hex/Allen key head on the back plate.
Use an M8 Hex/Allen key to undo this area and access the internal components. The Adjustment Knob spindle is also an integrated M8 Hex Key.
Remove the washer and Seat Cap.
Clean any contaminants from the internal parts.
Inspect the seat cap assembly (made of ultra-high molecular polyethylene) for wear or damage.
Reassemble carefully, ensuring all seals are correctly seated.
