Talos Keg | Safety Information

⚠️ ATTENTION

BEFORE CONNECTING THIS KEG, YOU MUST READ THE OPERATING MANUAL CAREFULLY. If any part of these instructions is unclear, stop immediately and contact KegLand Customer Support via email or phone for assistance.

CRITICAL SAFETY WARNINGS

  • Pressure Limitations: The maximum working pressure for this keg is 4.0 bar.

  • PRV Requirement: Before attaching a gas supply, you must have a pressure relief valve (PRV) installed on your regulator and/or keg coupler to prevent excessive pressure from entering the keg.

    • Approved Options: The KegLand or KegLand PRVs are both acceptable safety measures. And the has a pressure release valve installed.

  • Single Use Only: Do NOT reuse the keg. This product is strictly designed for single-use applications.

  • Integrity Check: If there is any visible leakage on the inner bag, do not use the keg.

  • Sharp Objects: Keep sharp blades & objects away from the keg whilst pressurised.

  • Orientation: Once filled, always keep the keg in an upright position. Do NOT roll the keg.

  • Transport: Keep the ambient temperature under 40°C (104°F) during transportation. Do NOT transport underfilled.

  • Storage Temperature: Store the keg indoors under 25°C (77F). Avoid direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to heat.

  • Material Degradation: Do NOT let aggressive alkaline, caustic, or oxidising substances come into contact with the PET keg.

  • Risk of Failure: Exposure to these chemicals can cause the plastic to become brittle, leading to structural failure, potential bursting, and severe physical harm or injury.

Stacking Limit: Once the kegs have been filled, do NOT stack them more than 2 layers high.
