Talos Keg | Equipment Required
You can purchase the filling coupler as a complete, pre-assembled kit—either the Talos A-Type Filling Coupler (KegLand duotight) or the A-Type Talos Filling Coupler SS. Both options include all the necessary connections listed below:
A-Type Keg Coupler: Must have the internal gas and liquid check valves removed.
Liquid-Side Ball Valve: Fitted with the appropriate thread for the liquid side of the coupler (typically 5/8" or 1/2").
Hose Barb or Push-In Fitting: To connect your liquid transfer line.
Gas-Side T-Piece: Connected directly to the gas side of the coupler.
Pressure Gauge: Mounted to the T-piece to monitor internal keg pressure.
Gas-Side Ball Valve: Connected to the T-piece to control gas exhaust/snubbing.
To move your beverage into the keg, you will need one of the following pressure sources:
Option A (Pump): A pressure-capable transfer pump capable of delivering at least 2 bar (29 psi).
Option B (Pressure Vessel): A pressure-rated tank or vessel to transfer the liquid using head pressure.
Beverage Line: High-pressure rated tubing to connect your transfer pump/vessel to the filling coupler.
Talos Filling Table: A Talos-compatible filling table or similar secure structural support.
