Never allow the water level to drop below the pump intake
Never run the pump dry
Do not operate without a drip loop set up and do not use the power cord to lift the pump
Do not use the pump in water above 356C and only use approved KegLand cleaners and sanitisers including StellarClean, StellaOxy, StellarSan and Phosphoric Acid at the correct dilution. Rinse pump thoroughly with water after use.
Ensure no body parts are in the water prior to powering the pump on
Do not install or store the pump where it will be exposed to weather or temperatures below freezing
Break the seal on the lid and remove the lid from the bucket. Confirm you have all the included items.
Secure the pump to the plate of the stand.
Screw the ½ inch female tee piece on to the ½ inch male thread on the pump.
It is essential that a drip loop is set up every time the bucket blaster is used to prevent water following the power cord back into the outlet on the wall.
To achieve this simply loop the power cord below the outlet as shown below.
Ensure the pump is always fully submerged in water during operation. Running the pump dry can result in damage to the pump. If using foaming cleaners or sanitisers such as StellarClean or StellarSan make sure that there is adequate water to keep the pump fully submerged during the entire cleaning or sanitising process.
The pump can either be set up in the bucket for portable use or in a sink for easy clean up.
The flow rate of the pump can be quickly adjusted by changing the inlet gap size on the pump as shown below.
Switching to smaller outlets and tubing can also reduce flow rate to a certain extent.
The Bucket Blaster is ideal for cleaning and ball lock kegs while you attend to other tasks. It allows the gas and liquid posts/diptubes to be cleaned or sanitised simultaneously with the main vessel.
The Bucket Blaster can also be used to clean vessels which do not have ball lock posts such as:

Fill the bucket with water that is colder than 40°C until the pump is fully submerged. If using a foaming cleaner or sanitiser such as StellarClean or StellarSan you may need to add more water than if using non-foaming cleaners and sanitisers such as StellarOxy and Phosphoric Acid.
NOTE: If cleaning a FermZilla refer to the instruction manual of the vessel for the temperature requirements of the water.
The pump should be regularly disassembled and cleaned to ensure there is not a build-up of trub or hop matter in the impeller assembly. Regular maintenance will extend the pump's lifespan.
Gently remove the front cover
Turn the impeller collar 1/6 of a turn counter clockwise

Screw the spray wand and jet nozzle into the vertical female thread of the ½ inch tee piece.
Screw the 9.5mm x ½ inch duotight fitting into the ½ inch tee piece.
Cut the beer line into three equal lengths, ensuring the ends are cut straight and cleanly. It is suggested that a tube cutter is used to cut this beer line.
Screw the 9.5mm x FFL duotight fittings onto the grey and black ball lock disconnects.
Push separate lengths of beer line into the 9.5mm x ½ inch duotight fitting, and the duotight fittings on each of the ball lock disconnects.
Push each of the lengths of the beer line into the 9.5mm duotight tee piece as shown in the images.
If cleaning a ball lock keg then attach the black (liquid) ball lock disconnect to the OUT post on the keg and attach the grey (gas) ball lock disconnect to the IN post on the keg. If cleaning a vessel other than a ball lock keg, as long as the ball lock disconnects are connected to the tubing the system shouldn’t leak and all the cleaning/sanitiser solution will be directed up the spray wand into the vessel.
If cleaning a FermZilla you can connect the disconnects to the posts on the FermZilla Lid and submerge the lid in the Bucket Blaster
Pull the impeller out of the impeller cavity. Be careful when removing the impeller as the magnet is quite strong and may snap back into place quickly with a lot of force
The impeller cavity can be cleaned with a soft toothbrush or cloth
