Double O-Ring Silicone + EPDM

Combining two different o-ring types gives us the ability to leverage two different o-ring materials making an overall more reliable sealing fitting.

Silicone

• High chemical resistance

• Excellent resilience/rebound rating (especially at cold temperatures)

• High flexibility in both very hot and very cold conditions

• Suitable for high vibration conditions

EPDM

• Durability

• Abrasion resistance

• Low gas transmission rate (oxygen, nitrogen, CO2)

• High chemical resistance

• UV resistant for outdoor applications

• High durability and toughness in hot and cold conditions

• Autoclavable / heat resistant

• Ensures tubing is inserted to correct depth

• All Gen 2 Fittings are made with 20bar (300psi) or greater burst pressures. The smaller 8mm and 6.35mm fittings have even higher burst pressures generally over 400psi.

The Gen 2 Fittings have colour coded collets making it easier to visually identify the different sizes.

• Blue - 9.5mm (3/8")
