Canuck Club Rye Whiskey and Diet Cola - DIY / BYO - Spirit Recipe

Formulated in the essence of Canadian Club and Cola. We have refined this spirit with roasty smooth and spicy rye flavours without being sickly sweet.

Whether you have a passion for distillation or you pop to the bottleo for some vodka. The final kit will make your own keg of Canadian Club & Cola that combines spicy rye notes with some bold roasty smooth character blended with Diet Cola to give a refreshing finish with less guilt than full fat cola. We recommend making to the specific ABV as that is what has been formulated. Changing said alcohol content may affect overall flavour and enjoyment of this beverage.

DIFFICULTY: EASY

TIME REQUIRED: 10 minutes to mix ingredients + 5 min to carbonate (using Quick Carb method) OR 1 week (using Set & Forget method) NOT INCLUDED: A source of neutral alcohol (vodka) distilled by yourself* or bought from a liquor store.

2 x KL41560 - Impressence - Rye Whiskey Spirit Flavouring 50mL 2 x KB25585 - Impressence - Cola Flavour Shot - Part A 50mL + Part B 50mL 4 x KL43892 - Impressence - Sugar Free Sweetener Blend 2 - 50mL 2 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL Not Included: 2.8L - Neutral Alcohol / Vodka (40% ABV)

Recipe

1. Add 2.8L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka) to your KL02899 19L Ball Lock Keg.

2. Add 2 x Rye Whiskey Spirit Flavouring sachets.

3. Add 2 x Cola Part A and 2 x Cola Part B sachets.

4. Add 4 x Sugar Free Sweetener Blend 2 sachets.

5. Top up to 19L with water.

6. Add 2 x FermStop sachets (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).

7. Mix Keg Contents Well.

8. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
