HIZO KAJIROSHI Size Grading Definitions
LARGE Uniform Long Pieces - 10kg Premium long straight quarter cut white charcoal binchotan. Primarily used when up to temperature for extended long cooks on hibachi grills and outdoor bbq's. Requires larger ignition source to get lit. Roughly 150 to 200mm pieces. The most premium Binchotan Sono pieces carefully selected for long Hibachis and Binchotan Cooking enthusiasts. MEDIUM Sized Pieces - 10kg Medium sized white charcoal pieces, mostly long pieces around 110mm with some 1/4 cut lengths instead of all rounds. Requires a good amount of ignition source. The premium choice for bbq cooking enthusiasts. SMALL Small Sized Pieces - 10kg Still premium Binchotan Sono but in smaller off cuts / shorter cuts. Much easier to light than 4 & 5 Star. A better fit in Chimney Starters. Ideal for compact hibachis and mid week cooks.
