Bombay Crossfire Gin & Tonic - DIY / BYO Spirit Recipe

You simply will not find an easier and faster way to mix up a keg of refreshing Bombay style Gin and Tonic at home. Simply mix, carbonate and enjoy!

Whether you have a passion for distillation or you pop to the bottleo for some vodka. This easy to use kit allows you to whip up a keg of your own Bombay Sapphire style Gin and Tonic in no time.

DIFFICULTY: EASY

TIME REQUIRED: 5 minutes to mix ingredients + 5 min to carbonate (using Quick Carb method) OR 1 week (using Set & Forget method)


RECOMMENDED RECIPE:

19L Keg

You will need: 2.8L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 4 x KL33145 - Impressence - Bombay Dry Gin Spirit Flavouring - 50ml 4 x KL41911 - Impressence - Tonic Flavour Shot - 50mL 2 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL 1.43kg x White Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 1.43kg White Sugar in 3L of hot water then add it to your to your KL02899 - 19L Ball Lock Keg.

  2. Add 2.8L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).

  3. Add 4 x Bombay Dry Gin Spirit Flavouring sachets.

  4. Add 4 x Tonic Flavour Shot sachets.

  5. Top up to 19L with water.

  6. Add 2 x FermStop sachets (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).

  7. Mix Keg Contents Well.

  8. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]


9.5L Keg

You will need: 1.4L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 2 x KL33145 - Impressence - Bombay Dry Gin Spirit Flavouring - 50ml 2 x KL41911 - Impressence - Tonic Flavour Shot - 50mL 1 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL 715g x White Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 715g White Sugar in 2L of hot water then add it to your KL02882 - 9.5L Ball Lock Keg.

  2. Add 1.4L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).

  3. Add 2 x Bombay Dry Gin Spirit Flavouring sachets.

  4. Add 2 Tonic Flavour Shot sachets.

  5. Top up to 9.5L with water.

  6. Add 1 x FermStop sachets (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).

  7. Mix Keg Contents Well.

  8. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
