Whether you have a passion for distillation or you pop to the bottleo for some vodka, this easy to use kit allows you to quickly and easily whip up a keg of your own crisp, bold and spicy Hard Brewed Jamaican Ginger Beer.
DIFFICULTY: EASY
TIME REQUIRED: 5 minutes to mix ingredients + 5 min to carbonate (using Quick Carb method) OR 1 week (using Set & Forget method)
RECOMMENDED RECIPE:
19L Keg
You will need: 2.8L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 4 x KL43120 - 2 x KL41928 - 950g x White Sugar
Instructions:
Dissolve 950g White Sugar in 2L of hot water then add it to your to your KL02899 - .
Add 2.8L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).
Add 4 x Brewed Ginger Beer Flavour Shot sachets.
Top up to 19L with water.
Add 2 x FermStop sachets (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).
Mix Keg Contents Well.
Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
9.5L Keg
You will need: 1.4L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 2 x KL43120 - Impressence - Brewed Ginger Beer Flavour Shot - 250mL 1 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL Not Included: 475g x White Sugar
Instructions:
Add 1.4L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).
Add 2 x Brewed Ginger Beer Flavour Shots sachets.
Top up to 9.5L with water.
Add 1 x FermStop sachet (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).
Mix Keg Contents Well.
Dissolve 475g White Sugar in 1L of hot water then add it to your KL02882 - .
Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
