Nordi Hard Strawberry & Lime Cider - DIY / BYO Spirit Recipe

Our DIY / BYO Spirit recipe is super easy and convient way to have Strawberry & Lime Cider on tap.

Whether you have a passion for distillation or you pop to the bottleo for some vodka, this easy to use kit allows you to quickly and easily whip up a keg of your own keg of crisp, sparkling Strawberry & Lime Cider without the hassle of fermenting and sourcing expensive ingredients.

DIFFICULTY: EASY

TIME REQUIRED: 5 minutes to mix ingredients + 5 min to carbonate (using Quick Carb method) OR 1 week (using Set & Forget method)


RECOMMENDED RECIPE:

19L Keg

Kit Includes: 2.8L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 4 x KL44431 - Impressence - Strawberry & Lime Cider Flavour Shot - 50mL 2 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL 750g - White Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 750g White Sugar in 2L of hot water then add it to your to your KL02899 - 19L Ball Lock Keg.

  2. Add 2.8L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).

  3. Add 4 x Strawberry & Lime Cider Flavour Shots.

  4. Top up to 19L with water.

  5. Add 2 x FermStop sachets (this step is critical, do not add the Impressence FermStops without having topped up the water).

  6. Mix Keg Contents Well.

  7. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]


9.5L Keg

You will need: 1.4L - Neutral spirit or Vodka (40%) 2 x KL44431 - Impressence - Strawberry & Lime Cider Flavour Shot - 50mL 1 x KL41928 - Impressence - FermStop 50mL 375g - White Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve 375g White Sugar in 1L of hot water then add it to your KL02882 - 9.5L Ball Lock Keg.

  2. Add 1.4L of your own neutral alcohol (40% Vodka).

  3. Add 2 x Strawberry & Lime Cider Flavour Shots.

  4. Top up to 9.5L with water.

  5. Add 1 x FermStop sachet (this step is critical, do not add the FermStops without having topped up the water).

  6. Mix Keg Contents Well.

  7. Carbonate to 3.5 volumes CO2 (Refer to KegLand Set and Forget CO2 Carbonation Chart for regulator pressure and keg temperature). [Optimum 20psi at 2°C]
